She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferris James West and Shirley Triance. She is survived by: her husband David Bruce McCowin; her brothers, James West (Alice) of Boardman, OH and Micheal West (Debbie); her stepfather Charles Triance Sr.; her siblings, Tracy Torry and Chuck Triance of Zebulon, NC.; her children, David McCowin (Peggy), Rachel Elek (Josh), Jarrod McCowin (Heather) and Amanda Rupke (Andrew); and her grandchildren, Emmet, Hazel McCowin, Norah, Winnie Elek, Cora, Ellie McCowin, Caleb, Judah and Vera Rupke.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (117 Blackhawk Rd, Beaver Falls, PA 15010). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Park Presbyterian Church (275 Commerce St, Beaver, PA 15009).
