William left this world on October 26, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Herlihy and Anne Herlihy; his former wife Jean Brennan Herlihy; his brother Thomas Herlihy (Josephine); his children, Kathy Bowers and Thomas Herlihy; his grandsons, Casey Burdick and Seth Burdick; his niece Joanne Zagarino; his stepson Paul Senko; and his stepson-in-law Michael Segool.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Herlihy (Popich); his children, Barbara Burdick (Bill), Ellen Ball (Eddie), Lisa Johnson (Jamie), Bill Herlihy (Gloria) and Michael Herlihy; his nephews, Frank Zagarino and Thomas Herlihy; his son-in-law John Bowers; his grandchildren, Ericka Westerman (Dave), Jesse Burdick (Katie), Rachel Cloninger, Robert Driscol (Dana), Chrissy Overcash (Pete), Jessica Naranjo (Daniel), Bridget Truitt (Hunter), Brennan, Mason and Cody Herlihy; his stepchildren, Marianne Segool, John Senko, Daniel Senko (Lynne) and Andrew Senko (Lacey); and his stepgrandchildren, Crystal Senko (Rajibul Islam), Sean Senko, Richard Senko, David Senko (Katherine), Dana Tye (David) and Ruby Senko. He is also survived by four step great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home (3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Child Church (212 Station St, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
