He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rosemarie Demsher (Washlack); his children, John Demsher (Helen) and Joanne McNally (Kevin); his grandchildren, John, Ronald, Evelyn Demsher, Carmella, Johnny and Clarissa McNally; and his sister Diana Horn (Michael).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UPMC Hillman Cancer Society, in memory of Ron.
