She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Dowd; and her sibling Thomas. She is survived by: her sons, Brian and Kevin Dowd; her grandchildren, Brady and Isabella Dowd; and her brothers, David, Jeffrey Koch and Phillip Koch. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Assoc. or the American Cancer Society.
