He was predeceased by: his wife Lavina Stanny (Kirstein); and his stepson John Hall. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Charles Hall (Irene), Cindy Ford (Richard) and Sharon Dunsey (Gary); his grandchildren, Rick, Judy, Chuck, Dawn and Tom; and his sisters, Rita Banaszak and Bernadette Reiff. He is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
