He was predeceased by: his parents, John Metzger and Mary Metzger. He is survived by: his wife Louise Geinzer Metzger; and his children, Diane Wildman (Pete), Carol Gratchick (Randy), Christine McDanel (Jeff), John Metzger (Tammy), Raymond Metzger and Marie Trossman (Brian). He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association or the Washington City Mission – Crabtree-Kovoacicek Veterans House.
