He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Maccalleen "Babe" Desmet (Castelli); his children, Lenny Desmet (Lisa), Lionel Desmet (Maureen) and Danneen "Dee" Desmet Cellone (Gary); his grandchildren, Alisha, LaCole, LaSalle, Candace, LaKayla, Brandon, Bree and Chanel; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Lainee, Miley, Zyler, Conner, Maddox and Rocco; and his siblings, Jane Mitchell (Ted), Florine Rolin (Paul), Sandra Desmet and Alan Desmet (Harriett).
