He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leo Heffron Sr. and Ruth Marie Dugan Heffron; and his sister Kathleen Fortino. He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his daughters, Leigh Ann Almos (Dan) and Tania Kavanagh (Neil); his grandchildren, Aric, Jessica, Christopher (Gabrielle), Marissa, Aiden and Ian; his great grandchildren, Bella and Onyx; and his siblings, Michael Heffron, Jane Simich, Cindy Wescott and Ruthann Finnen (Karl). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Bridgeville Funeral Home (430 Washington Ave, Bridgeville, PA 15017). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Tunnels to Towers (https://t2t.org), a Veteran charity organization that was close to John's heart.
