He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Westerdale and Florence Westerdale (Sears); his son Scott; his siblings, Donald and Dorothy; and his grandchildren, Casey, Vanessa, Brian and James.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Westerdale (Cranston); his children, James (Shelley), Gary (Debbie), Brian Westerdale (Liz), Samantha Bailey and Jennifer Christensen (Paul); and his siblings, Norman, David, Barbara, John, Marion and Thomas. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
