He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret Eichenlaub (Moore); his sons, Doug Eichenlaub (Carla) and Devin Eichenlaub; his grandchild Gunnar Eichenlaub; and his brother Daniel Eichenlaub. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rennerdale V.F.D. or the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
