He was loved and cherished by many people including: his nieces and nephews, Lauren Kennedy (Miles), Melissa Cippel (Timothy), Michael Ihrig (Brittany), Brian Heald (Joy) and Ashlie Heald; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madeline, Katelyn Heald, Reid, Blake Kennedy, Ethan, Grayson and Cayden Cippel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
