Beverley Ann Abel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beverley Ann Abel (Bridgeville, Pennsylvania), born in Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Etter and Mary Etter (Faires); her husband Richard S. Abel; and her siblings-in-law, John Guyant and Marty.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Ann Spungen (Steven), Dr. Deborah Abel, Cynthia Robinson, Joan Westphal, Stephen Abel (Carla) and Ed Abel (Carol); her grandchildren, Sarah Mycek (William), Miriam Philmon (Gregory), Joanah Bodero (Darwin), Heather Morris (Richard), Paul Scanga (Franchesca), Angela Robinson, Amanda Tolbert (Eric), Nicholas Westphal (Kristy), Andrew Westphal (Brie), Natalie Westphal (Blake), Matthew Westphal, Stephen Abel (Casey), Zachary Abel (Courtney), Spencer Abel (Kirsten), Blake Abel (Jillian), Caitlin Bottiger (Nathan) and Nathan Abel; and her siblings, Mary Guyant and William "Bill" Etter. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Warchol Funeral Home (3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
In lieu of flowers, donations on Beverley's behalf may be made to Meals on Wheels and/or Youth Enrichment Services.
