It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Hanthorne of Bridgeport, Pennsylvania, born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore "Sullivan" and Rose Volpe (Guarisco); her brother Samuel Volpe; and her niece Christine Volpe. She is survived by: her sister Anna Marie Hripto (Michael); her niece Tammie (Jay); her nephews, Matthew Hripto, Mark Volpe and David Volpe; her great-nephew Shane Krause; her great-niece Grace Volpe; her pet Bryant; and her close friend Hilary Zee.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to: St Jude Children's Hospital -Or- Metropolitan Veterinary Associates, Norristown, PA "Paws of Promise" (on Metro-vet.com, Select "About", then "Paws of Promise").
