He was predeceased by: his parents, George Barnes and Mildred Barnes (Kelly); his former wife Orleitha; his son Robert L Jr.; his siblings, Isabelle Muterra, George "Bud" and Joan Shaiko; and his nephew Taylor Ogdin.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughter Linda Ritson (Bill) of Baltimore; his grandchildren, Kelly Cummins, William Ritson Jr., Casey and Lea Ritson; his great grandchildren, Saige Cummins and McKenzie Marx; and his nieces, Sara Cooper and Jennifer Ogdin.
