As we bid Shirley farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Shirley is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Moss and Carroll Moss. She is survived by: her husband Ronald A. Hartog; and her children, Pam Yeager (Tom) and Keith Hartog (Vickie). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cieslak Tatko Funeral Home (2935 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Shirley's family requests donations be made in her name to VNA Hospice 154 Hindman Road; Butler, PA 16001.
