He was predeceased by: his wife MaryAnn Borneman (Phillips); his child Marlyn; his parents, Teresa Borneman (Meyer) and John Borneman Sr.; and his siblings, Lucille Gilbert (Herb), John (Margie) and Jerome.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Cathy), Cynthia Howell (late Douglas) and Pamela; and his sister Lorraine.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Richard's name to Paramount Hospice and Palliative Care at 3025 Washington Road, Suite 201, McMurray, PA 15317.
