He is survived by: his son Erik David Whitaker (Megan); his sister Janice Ward; his son Adam David Whitaker (Chelsey); his grandchildren, Sawyer, Henry, Scarlett, Jensen, Archer, August, Collette, Kobe and Ruby; his niece Karen Olesky (Steve); his great-niece Melissa Scott (Todd); and his great-nephew Tyler.
