We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2025, Michael A. Donio of Breinigsville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Michael farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Michael is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Rooney and Patricia Rooney (Shindel). He is survived by: his sister Jane (Robert E. Ruppel) of Timonium, MD; his nieces, Cathy Ruppel of York, PA and Susan Ruppel (David Smith) of Warrenton, VA; his great-nephews, Andrew Smith of Arlington, VA and Alex Smith of Williamsburg, VA; and his nephew John Ruppel (Ashleigh) of York, PA..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schmoyer Funeral Home (8926 Brookdale Rd, Breinigsville, PA 18031). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
Memorials can be considered in lieu of flowers to an animal charity of one's choice.
