He was predeceased by: his wife Jennie A. Schantz (Evert); his parents, Andrew J. Schantz and Edith Schantz (Rohrbach); and his brother Harold. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl K. Trexler of Emmaus and Col. Jeffery A. Schantz; his siblings, Marvin (Blanche) of Emmaus, Evelyn Arndt of Vera Cruz and Mary Snyder of Emmaus; and his grandchildren, Traci Steltz of Kutztown, Daniel Trexler of Upper Milford, Penny Doyle of Emmaus, Alan Schantz of Plymouth Meeting and Temple Helm of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
