She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Bernhard and Louretta Bernhard (Hann); her spouse Dale Mearkle; her son Dennis Mearkle; and her siblings, Oleta Clark, Cramer Bernhard, Donald Bernhard and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, William K. Mearkle (Kimberly), Randy L. Mearkle, Breezwood and Karen (Joel Colledge); her sister Joyce (Bruce Zimmerman); her grandchildren, Craig, Heather, Amber, Brandy, Clint and Cody; and her friend Judy Ling.
