He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Newman and Margaret E. Newman (Strike); his son Victor Charles Newman; and his sister Helen Dickinson. He is survived by: his wife Arlene F. Newman (Mearkle); his son Dewayne Thomas Newman (Carol) of Duncansville, PA; his grandchildren, Thomas Newman (Lisa) of Waynesboro, VA and Catherine Newman of Duncansville, PA; and his sister Sally Defenderfer.
