David A. Sauers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David A. Sauers of Bradfordwoods, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sauer and Edith Kerr; and his brother Raymond Sauers. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Goerl DeWeese; his siblings, Charles Sauers (Chris), Carol Prenn and Jane Wauchter; his sons, David A. (Elaine), Daniel A. (Marie Kovesci), Dennis A. (Kerri) and Douglas A. Sauers (Karen); his stepsons, Jamie DeWeese (Rose) and Neil DeWeese (Kevin McDermott); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Elena, Jenna, Patrick, Dillon, Dallas, Douglas, Jr., Devin Sauers, Jacob DeWeese and GiGi Naumovski.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schellhaas & Sons Funeral Home (1600 Stone Mansion Dr, Sewickley, PA 15143). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Aidan Parish (221 Church Rd, Wexford, PA 15090).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sauers Family Fund at the Pittsburgh Foundation or to Paws Across Pittsburgh.
