She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob R. Carr and Marie C. Bennett Carr; and her husband Frederick G. Strait. She is survived by: her children, Rose Strait Snyder of North Carolina, Frederick Strait, Jr. (Susan Hiertz) of Bradford, Rhonda Strait-Morton (Jeffrey) of Bradford and Howard Strait of Bradford; her grandson Frederick G. Strait, III; her siblings, Shirley Connelly of Bradford, Bev Bickford (Ed) of Bradford, Jackie Carr (Tina Yohe) of Derrick City and Jeffrey Carr (Sandy) of Bradford; and her close friend Francis VanCise, Sr.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to the Mascho Funeral Home to help cover Rose's funeral expenses.
