He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard E. Thompson and Marjorie "Marge" J Thompson (Cook); his son Captain Bradley J. Thompson; his grandson Andrew Hoch; and his brother Donald Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Ann Thompson (Smith); his son Craig Thompson (Trisha) of Fairview; his grandchildren, Angela Griffiths (Dakota), Megan Kerr (Kaleb), Steven Hoch and Amanda Hoch; his siblings, Sharon Cullen (Dave) of Limestone, NY and Jack Thompson (Marion) of Aliquippa; and his sister-in-law Shelley Wright (Edward) of Bradford.
