He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Ida Mae Armagost (Reed); and his siblings, Mildred Phearsdorf, Floyd, James, Earl and Robert Armagost.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Szur (late John) of Jersey Shore, Sharon Black (Tim Bridge) of Lewis Run and Doreen Dedionisio (Louie) of Harbor Creek. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces, nephews.
