He is survived by: his wife Karen Buchheit (Niemic); his sibling Tiers Foundation; his daughters, Marissa Buchheit (Alex Negle) of Pittsburgh and Jessica Buchheit (Ryan Gumbita) of Pittsburgh; and his siblings, Kathleen Lecker of St. Marys, Janet Hopkins of Fairview, Pauline Buchheit of Lancaster, Tom Buchheit (Karen) of Cogan Station, Joe Buchheit (Judy) of Bryan, TX, Sally Buchheit of Leola, Ron Buchheit of Bradford, Jeff Buchheit (Tina) of St. Marys, Christopher Buchheit of Vancouver, WA and Mike Buchheit of St. Marys.
He also received multiple appreciation and merit awards from both groups for his many contributions to the organizations' success.
