The passing of Mary M. Rae of Bradford, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 98. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. McCarthy and Elizabeth A. McCarthy (Donnelly); her husband Daniel J. Rae; her son Scott Rae; and her brothers, Charles McCarthy, Kenneth McCarthy, John "Jake" McCarthy, William "Speed" McCarthy, Russell McCarthy and Thomas McCarthy.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Macfarlane (George) of Bradford, Kathleen Nielson (Jim) of Claremont, NH, William T. Rae (Patricia) of Bradford, David M. Rae (Jamie) of Syracuse, NY and Jack Rae of Bradford; and her friend Nancy O'Donnell. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. (372 E Main St, Bradford, PA 16701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Church (95 E Corydon St, Bradford, PA 16701).
