He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence W. Lathrop and Edna G. Jackson Lathrop; his son Todd Lathrop; his sister Bonnie Keyes; and his granddaughter Melissa Tingley.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Burkey (Lois) of Philadelphia, Grant Burkey (Janice) of Abingdon, MD, Lawrence W. Lathrop (Carolyn) of Rochester, NY, Cameron Lathrop (Karen) of Fort Mill, SC, Kristin Bailes (Marc) of Scottsdale, AZ, Julie Swick (William Dunlevy) of Columbus, OH and Michelle Tingley (Ronald) of Clermont, FL; and his brother Robert Lathrop (Darlene) of Wilmington, DE. He is also survived by many grandchildren; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
