Sylvester (Howe); his daughter Elizabeth Gomes; and his siblings, Helen Smith, Virginia Burns, Florence Jean Shonts, Grace, Everett Shonts, Donald Shonts, Ralph Shonts and Arthur Shonts.
He is survived by: his son Ralph Shonts of Arkansas; his grandchildren, Lisa Gomes, Valerie Bledsoe and Michael Shonts; and his brothers, Frank Shonts (Nancy) of Bradford and Jack Shonts (Judy) of Cyclone.
