She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Piper (Shaner) and Archie Piper; her husband Arvid R. Nelson, Jr.; and her brother Richard S. Piper. She is survived by: her children, Arvid Nelson III (Angela) of Bradford, Carol Ryan (Patrick) of Bradford, Stephen P. Nelson of Bradford and Diane Nelson Ludwig of Bradford; her grandchildren, Zara Shick (Mark), Krystle Dillaman (Chad), Ian Ivancic and Brock Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Taryn, Hailey, Nora Shick, Regan, Landon and Alayna Dillaman.
