It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald James Russell of Bradford, Pennsylvania, born in Turtlepoint, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Russell and Martha Gross Russell; and his siblings, Frederick, Merle, Paul Russell, Alice Russell Wilson, Aschia Russell Hall, Edna Russell, Josephine Russell Conklin, Ruby Peggy Russell Griffith and Wilma Russell Tarbox.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Milliron; his children, James Russell (Jan) of Bradford, PA, Jerry Russell (Janet) of Smethport, PA and Julie Weimer (Ted) of Elizabethtown, PA; his grandchildren, Matthew Russell, Bethany Russell, Kaitlyn Peterson, Brock, Brett Russell, Jared and Jordan Wolf; and his great grandchild Malin Margaret Peterson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Coryville Church of Faith (1913 Moody Hollow Rd, Eldred, PA 16731). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Coryville Church of Faith Moody Hollow Eldred, Pennsylvania (1913 Moody Hollow Rd, Eldred, PA 16731).
