She was predeceased by: her parents, William B. Burkett and Eva Lucille Burkett (Selner); and her sister Barbara Stauch. She is survived by: her husband Gordon A. Sherk; her children, Marsha Munday (Mike) of Avella, Christie Schoelles of Lockport, NY and David Sherk (Christy) of Zelienople; her grandchildren, Robert Munday (Molina), Joshua Munday (Abbey), Shannon Askew, Brandon Sherk, Calia Sherk, Kiara Sherk and Alexis Schoelles; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Munday and Hadley Munday.

Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the SPCA, or to the American Cancer Society.
