He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward D. Burton and Dorothy Burton (Humes); his wife Toni Marie Burton (Bizzaro); his son Michael Vigliotti; and his brother Richard Burton.

He is survived by: his children, Joel Burton of Bradford, Todd Burton of Bradford, Kathleen Barhight (Doug) of Bradford, Michelle Vigliotti of Pittsburgh and Holly Troutman (Joe) of Lewis Run; and his sisters, Jan Burton of Bradford and Judy Minich of Gates City, VA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
