He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Freeman and Marion H. Freeman (Hosack); and his brother Tom Freeman. He is survived by: his son Gary Freeman of Sun Valley, CA; his sisters, Linda C. Freeman of Bradford and Margery J. Anderson of Raleigh, NC; his nieces, Christina Martinez and Heather Brown; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Katelin, Elora, Raeley, Xavery and Ezekiel.
