He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Myers and Florence Armbrust Myers; and his sisters, Nancy Lee Emery and Eleanor "Tooty" McLean. He is survived by: his close friend Linda M. Johnston Myers; his children, Jennifer Burr (Josh) of Butler and Jason Myers (Nicole) of Latrobe; his sister Florence Blanche Hoggard of Ahoskie, NC; his grandsons, Brayden William and Ashton James Burr; his brother-in-law James R. Johnston of Irving; and his pets, Mindy, Shelby and Lucy.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Action for Animals.
