He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward G. Chappie and Katherine Chappie (Metrakis); and his brother John Tierney Chappie. He is survived by: his child Lindsey Chappie (Terrence Coles) of Turtle Creek; his grandchild Jaycie Coles; and his siblings, Pauline Tierney Yankes (Dennis) of North Huntingdon and Michael Chappie of Turtle Creek.
