With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kattie Sumler (Braddock, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Kattie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kattie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Chanta Davenport, John Davenport and James Summers; and her siblings, Anthony Underwood, Hurd Underwood, Gloria Underwood, Rosalynn Keys, Cynthia Griswald and Darlene Davis. She was also cherished by grandchildren, great- grandchildren, other family members and friends.
