The passing of Joanne L. Schleifer of Braddock, Pennsylvania leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 72. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Theodore J. "Ted" Schleifer Jr. and Evelyn Florence Schleifer (McClelland); her brothers, William B. Schleifer (Jean Ann) of Duquesne and Theodore Joseph Schleifer III; her nieces, Elizabeth "Liz" Veyliotti (Andy) of Portland, OR, Jenny Lynn Schleifer of Duquesne and Kristen Matusiak (Nathan) of North East, PA; her nephew William Brian "Bill" Schleifer (Amy) of North Huntingdon; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Addison Matusiak, Autumn Schleifer and Savannah Schleifer; and her godchildren, Joanne Stinson (Hoffman), Jenna Magee (Evans), Mark Tongel and Blair Marie Montone.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home (915 Kennedy Ave, Duquesne, PA 15110). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (1600 Brinton Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15221).
