He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Hackett and Caroline Hackett (Weslow); and his sisters, Lorraine Mayger (late George) and Eileen. He is survived by: his brother Bernard Hackett (Theresa); his nephew Michael Mayger (Katie) of Monroeville; and his niece Caroline Fleming (David) of West Mifflin. He is also survived by son; and along with other nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
