He was predeceased by: his parents, Clementine (Porter) and Thomas J. Brown Sr.; his former wife Katie Brown (Darling); his son William "Billy" Brown; and his brothers, Thomas J. Brown Jr. and Robert P. Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Nance; his children, Marshall Brown (Debra Brown), Kimberly Brown Findley of Endwell, NY, Julie Brown (Greg Holbein), Linda Brown Osier (Scott Osier), Lori Brown of Endicott, NY and Keris Brown (Fran Kabisch); his grandchildren, Verity, Holly, William, Robin, Maxwell and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Ajanae, Taheem, Ryleigh, Noah and Landon; his sister Mary Brown Gere; and his siblings-in-law, Paul W. Gere, Leona K. Brown, Harpursville and Eleanor L. Brown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
