He was predeceased by: his father Walter Daniel; and his brothers, Walter L., James Leroy and Donald E. Carnathan. He is survived by: his wife Maxine E. Carnathan (Cheesman); and his sister Freda Mae Atkinson of Tarentum. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
