It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynda L. Demharter of Brackenridge, Pennsylvania, born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Scanlon and Dorothy May Scanlon (McGaughey); her husband Louis G. "Skip" Demharter; and her brother Shawn Scanlon. She is survived by: her children, Dawn M. James Henderson (Petro) of Melbourne, Krista L. Matthew Charlton (Petro) of Freeport and Shawn T. Demharter (Shaqual) of New Kensington; her grandchildren, Anna, Lauren Henderson, Courtney Henderson, Matthew Jr., Cole Charlton, Shawn Jr., Shane and Haley Demharter; and her brothers, James Scanlon of Glenshaw and Patrick Scanlon of West Kittanning.
Burial will be private. Please follow CDC guidelines for social distancing and masks are required.
