She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna M. Varos Grondwalski (Knasko) and Peter J. Varos; her husband James Maeder Sr.; her siblings, Patricia Schuster and Peter Varos; and her grandson Paul Maeder.
She is survived by: her children, James Maeder Jr. of Arlington, VA, Jeffrey Maeder (Debra) of Natrona Heights, Nina Tomporoski (Don) of Natrona Heights, Karl Maeder of Brackenridge, Scott Maeder of Brackenridge and Trisha Starrett (George) of Pittsburgh; her brother John Grondwalski (Rose); her grandchildren, Beverly Tomporoski, Nathan Tomporoski (Lauren), Emily Maeder and Maxwell Maeder; and her great grandchild Brooke Tomporoski. She is also survived by 6 children, had 5 grandchildren, a great granddaughter.
