He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ellis and Edna Ellis (Brinzenhoff); and his brothers, Donald, William and George.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Ellis (Hartman) of Boyertown; his daughter Vicki L. Ellis-Kolarz (Bruce); his granddaughter Brynn Crognale (James); his great grandchildren, Paige, James Dominic and Evelyn; and his brothers, Robert and Daniel.
