He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Himes and Madeline Himes (Weikel); his sister Constance Grosser; and his son Matthew Douglas Himes. He is survived by: his sisters, Janet Levengood and Marjorie Blum; his daughters, Angela Slaby, Valerie Fiechter, Meredith Bennett and Marissa Stokes; and his grandsons, Maxwell, Luc-Alexandre, Hunter, Julien, Roman, Corson, Warner, Johnathan, Landon and Camdon.
