She was predeceased by: her husband John S. Groff Jr. of Boyertown; her parents, Charles H. Schwager and Edna Schwager (Moyer); and her siblings, Arlice Surgeoner, Gloria Smith, Lee Schwager and C. Frederick Schwager.
She is survived by: her children, Richard A. Groff (Susan), Michael B. Groff (Susan) and Karen L. Essig (late Clifford); her grandchildren, Kylene, Kaitlyn, Madelyn, Keith, Brad, Jordan, Jacob, Scott and Jason; her great grandchildren, Chase, Remington, Kenneth, Ashley, Alexis, Eva and Katlyn; and her siblings, Ronald Schwager, William Schwager, Fay Rader and Thelma Stauffer.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
