He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd E. Crosby and Mary Alice Crosby (Hoch); his former wife Elsie G. Crosby (Pike); and his siblings, Farel H. Crosby, Janice Lachman and Muriel Grazier.

He is survived by: his spouse Rana G. Crosby (Peele); his children, Byron E. Crosby, Jr. (Gui Ying), Jonathan S. Crosby (Jaci), Daniel L. Crosby, Sharon D. (Richard C. Fagley), Deborah L. (Ronald Stott) and Susan J. (James Huxoll); his brother Alan H. Crosby; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Schaeffer, Carmenette Jarvis, Sylvia Marion (Pike) and Reverend Robert Pike of Cornwall, PA. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.

The family asks that everyone follows CDC recommendations by wearing masks and social distancing.
