She was predeceased by: her husband Earl "Chink" Shirey; and her parents, Ervin Luke Bitler and Thelma Bitler (Hoffman). She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Doney of Boyertown, PA, Sharon Robertson and Tina Turner. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Donations may be made in Betty's honor to Caring Hospice Services, 400 Commerce Dr., Suite C, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
