She was predeceased by: her husband Paul L. Leister, Sr.; her parents, Harvey Haring and Maria Haring (Levan); her son Gary Leister (Patricia); and her siblings, Betty Brunner, Annamarie Ludwig, Marguerite Willman, Sarah, Eugene, Melvin, Edwin, Raymond, Carl, Robert, Charles, Jimmy and Harvey Haring Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Troxel (late Robert), Paul Jr. Leister (Judy), Nancy Leister, Randall Leister and Brian Leister; her siblings, Ruthann Pennypacker (Harvey), Daniel Haring, Maryellen Sonders and Lester Haring; her grandchildren, Scott Sheetz (Wendy), Brandon Troxel, Kelly Heimbach (Josh), Becky Kohr, Tracey Detwiler (Greg) and Tiffany Cappellano (John); and her sister Tammy Eisenhard (Judd). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Good Shepherd United Church of Christ (35 W Philadelphia Ave, Boyertown, PA 19512). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Good Shepherd UCC Memorial Fund at the above address.
