Gates and Rebecca of Foxburg; his siblings, Eugene Gates, Velma of Saxonburg, George Gates, Linda of Knox, Katherine Welder of Hudson, OH, Mercedes Perrine of Sandy Lake and Nancy McClain of Akron, OH.; and his former wife Linda Cotton Gates of Foxburg. He is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
